Congratulations to Mr.O’Sullivan who was selected to deliver a lecture on Philosophy in Education to 1st Year PME student teachers in UCD.
The topic of the lecture was Philosophy in the Irish classroom, which explored both the presence of Philosophy as a discipline within various subject areas, as well as the Philosophy Short Course for Junior Cycle.
The presentation also discussed how methodologies for philosophical enquiry (such as Philosophy4Children) can be implemented in the Irish secondary school classroom.
